Washing machine too slow getting water or stopped doing it altogether? From different manufacturers this error may be indicated by the code "IE", "F5" or "E1" on the display.

To start searching for the source of the problem with the most simple of reasons:

- no water or insufficient pressure in the water;
- malfunction of the locking of the hatch;
- not running the water supply system;
- damage to the intake valve;
- defect of drain pump (pump);
- fatal self-damage.

There is no water or insufficient pressure in the water

You should open the faucet of the sink to check water pressure. If it is insufficient (the water goes in a thin stream), so the washing machine is unable to recruit the required level at a set program time and signals an error. In this case, can only help a plumber.

The fault lock of the hatch

Check whether door is locked when you turn on the machine. If not, the damaged locking device of the hatch, and automatics does not allow to begin to set water. Necessary to replace the locking device.

Does not work water supply system

Check if the valve is opened to supply water, it may be located in the plumbing Cabinet or on the feed water pipe. Make sure that the feed water hose, never broken, is not pinched or bent. For this you need to close the water valve in the machine, disconnect the hose for water intake from the washing machine and put it in the bathroom or other container, then open the water. If the pressure is weak, turn off the water, pliers, gently remove the sewage treatment plant, fishnet, rinse it and reinstall.

You should also check the hose for possible obstruction. If water enters through a hose with normal pressure, the problem may be in the inlet valve.

Malfunction intake valve

Remove the washing machine's top cover. Inspect the valve set the water for signs of blackening, melting plastic or burning smell, it needs to be in place to connect the hose to supply water. If there are no problems there, you should measure the resistance on the solenoid coil, it should be 3.6 kω. If it is significantly less than it should be or no you will need to replace the inlet valve.

The defect of drain pump (pump)

Remove the drain filter at the bottom of the machine and drain excess water. Unscrew the volute and carefully remove the pump, clean it and measure the electrical resistance on the terminals. It is also recommended to check for broken wings pump is not jammed. If anything demonstrates the failure of the pump, it is better to replace it.

Fatal self-damage

If all previous steps have been completed, and washer is still not functioning, the problem may be a faulty water sensor (pressostat) or the control module. To replace or repair them can only be a specialist.
