  • - ATI Catalyst Control Centre.

Turn the laptop on and press the required key to enter the BIOS menu. Find the menu, responsible for managing video devices. Select integrated graphics card and set it to Disabled. Note that this process can be executed only in the case when active is another video card.

If you could not disable the video card via the BIOS, try to do so using functions of the Windows operating system. Open the device Manager. Wait until the process has completed analysis of the connected equipment. Locate the menu for "display Adapters" and expand it. Select integrated graphics card, click the right mouse button and select "Disable".

For setting more convenient management of the graphics device, there are special applications. In that case, if your laptop uses the Intel CPU, download and install the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator. This program will automatically enable a full video card in that case, if there is not enough power integrated graphics device.

If you are using AMD CPU, then install the ATI Catalyst Control Centre. Restart the notebook. Just right click on the desktop and select "Configure AMD PowerXpress".

In the "Current active graphics processor" will indicate the active video card. To configure automatic switching of display adapter when connecting/disconnecting the power to the laptop, activate the corresponding item by setting the checkbox next to it.

To turn yourself a full fledged graphics card, click the "High performance GPU". Click "Apply" and close the program.
