Run any version of text editor Word, which is included in the standard package of Microsoft Office. At the bottom of the document page you will see a thin horizontal line, after which in order located the footnotes. Each footnote corresponds to a sequence number or other symbol. The same sign is present in the text, and at the end of the word or sentence to which this footnote.

In order to remove footnote in word, put the mouse cursor directly in front of the icon of the footnotethat is in the text of the document. Press "Delete" (delete). After that, the sign of the footnote will disappear from the text. Along with it will be deleted and the text of the footnote below the line, bottom of the page.
Note
Don't even try to remove the footnotes using special window "Footnotes" under "Insert" so as to remove footnote in word only in the text itself.
Useful advice
Also delete the footnote can be a mouse. Highlight the text of the footnote icon and click the right mouse button. Click "Cut".
