You will need
  • - key end "10";
  • - the ohmmeter.
Instruction
1
First, inspect the plastic cover of the ignition coil for mechanical damage, cracks, dirt, leakage and overheating of the oil. If you found something, you need to replace the coil.
2
Check the ignition coil (Babin) without removing it from the car, but still, on the advice of experienced motorists, masters, best to remove it for easy access with your car. For removing, take the Allen key to "10".
3
As any Babina consists of primary, secondary winding and electrical connections, you must first check the resistance of the primary winding of the ignition coil, which receives intermittent low-voltage current. To do this, connect the ohmmeter to the low voltage terminals of your Babin. Remember that the resistance at 25 ° C shall be (0,42±0,05) Ohms at the ignition coil 8352.12 and (0,43±0,04) Ohms at the ignition coil 3122.3705. If it differs from the standard value, it is necessary to replace it.
4
Then you need to check the resistance of the secondary winding of the ignition coil (Babin), which is induced by a high-voltage current. To do this, connect the ohmmeter to the low-voltage terminal b and Babin to the high-voltage terminal. But don't forget that the resistance at 25 ° C should be (5,00±1,00) whom have the ignition coil 8352.12 and (4,08±0,40) com at the ignition coil 3122.3705. If it differs from the standard value, it is necessary to replace it. Most importantly - do not forget to remove the electrical connectors from the ignition coils.
5
And finally, you should check the insulation resistance to ground. And for this you need to connect an ohmmeter to the body Babin and alternately to each of its terminals. If the resistance of the ignition coil less than 50 MW, it means it is faulty and you need to put a new.
