Instruction
1
To calculate the module power is not always rational. If the load cell has a construction permitting the location diagonally measure this value directly.
2
If the dynamometer allows the attach to object only at right angles or it is equipped with two sensors that measure all components of force at the coordinates at the same time, record the readings for all coordinates. If the device is arranged in such a way that measures the strength of different coordinates in different units (such meters are rare), put the results of all measurements in the same units. Some multi-axis dynamometers indicate not power, and voltage at the outputs of the sensors. Then you need to multiply them by the calibration factors listed in the table or predetermined for each of the sensors experimentally.
3
Finding that two or three components of force non-zero value is only one, any calculations do not engage. Just take out of the result of the corresponding measurement module.
4
In case, if a non-zero value are just two or three components of force, erect each of them into a square. Pay attention to the fact that after this operation will turn out positive results, even if the original data was negative.
5
Results construction of the components of force in a square fold together, and then from the amount received, extract the square root. This will be the module power. It will be expressed in the same units as the original data, for example, in Newtons (N) or kilograms of force (kgf).
6
Received , the module power can be used as input parameter in the calculation of related physical quantities. For example, to calculate the pressure, divide it by the area to which the force is applied. If you divide the module power on body weight, you get acceleration.
