Types of monitors

The screen resolution of your monitor or laptop determines the clarity of text or images displayed on the display. At high resolution, for example, 1900x1200 pixels, all the objects will look sharper. Also objects become smaller, and accordingly on the screen to fit more. And at low resolution, for example 1024x768 pixels, the size of images and text increased, but their clarity is getting worse.

Resolution available for use depends on the monitor. So, the old CRT monitors usually have a diagonal of 17 inches and only support a resolution of 800x600 or 1024x768 pixels.

LCD monitors or laptop displays have a diagonal of 17 and above, and support higher screen resolutions. And the bigger the monitor the higher the resolution that it can support. The ability to increase your screen resolution depends on the diagonal of the monitor and the video card.
