Instruction
1
During the Assembly of the rear hub you need to consider that right and left ends of the axis are different. The right is fixed to the axis by means of the locknut, and then never removed it. Therefore all adjustments are carried out from the left cone. Don't mix up which side the bushings will need to insert axle right cone.
2
Lay in the body of the sleeve and Cup bearings on both sides new, thick grease, then using tweezers, grab the balls and press them into her. The lubricant layer must be thick enough so that the balls are unable to roll out of the sleeve.
3
On the right side rear bushing on the balls, apply washer and insert the shaft with the right cone. This should be done cautiously. Otherwise you run the risk of losing balls that can fall out of the bearing Cup from the opposite side.
4
Tighten axle left cone, but in no case do not tighten it. Then put the washers and screw the lock nut.
5
Now we need to adjust the bearings. To do so, ensure the immobility of the axis. Get the helper that will help you to keep right cone turn, and you will adjust the left cone. In the absence of an assistant, hold the locknut of the right cone in a vise, but do this carefully so as not to deform the nut and the bushing.
6
A tapered key, tighten the left cone to the end, but not tightening it, and releasing at 45 degrees. After that, hold down the key the cone, tighten the locknut. All this time the axis of the sleeve must remain fixed.
7
If done correctly, the axle will rotate easily without any jamming. However, she must not have excessive play. Upon detection of a backlash or jamming Unscrew the lock nut and tighten or loosen the cone.
8
At the end of the adjustment slide the dust caps and check the rotation of the wheels, which must turn without any effort only under the weight of the valve.
