Instruction
1
Remove the rear wheel. To do this, flip the bike wheels up and lean it on the steering wheel. If you have a bike, entry-level, then the wheel is attached by nuts that are screwed on the ends of the axle. To remove the wheel, use the swing or swivel wrench of the correct size. If you have a sports road or mountain bike, there can be used the eccentric clamp. In this case, the wheel can be removed without tools.
2
Insert the slotted nut to the puller magazine. The ratchet cassette tape is attracted slotted nut. In order to remove this same nut you will need a special puller tape (can be purchased at any specialty store). And in order to keep the cassette (you have to Unscrew it in the direction of free rotation of the rear wheels) will need a whip. Also get a swing or flare wrench.
3
Put the whip on the largest cassette sprocket. Hold the cassette with the whip and turn the puller with a wrench. For this you will need to make quite a decent effort. Keep in mind that the smallest sprocket and the spline nut have a slightly corrugated surface (to avoid unscrewing), so that during the loosening you will hear a sharp crunch. Do not worry, this is normal.
4
Completely Unscrew the nut, then remove the tape. Keep in mind that some of the little stars can be worn independently on the rattle, and between them there are washers, gaskets. Carefully remove these washers and gears so that during disassembly they are not crumbled. Remove them one by one and carefully somewhere play, to the Assembly not to confuse. Then remove the tape. Then, remove the protective plastic ring that is on all the tapes.
5
Look carefully at the teeth and determine the degree of wear of the cassette. After removing, cleaning or replacing the necessary components, assemble the magazine in reverse order and reinstall the rear wheel of the Bicycle.
