Due to its absorbent and protective properties, Drug cleanses the body of toxins, so it can be used in case of poisoning, rotavirus infections and in the treatment of severe allergic reactions (e.g., angioedema).

The drug is available in powder form, so before using it you need to prepare. According to the instructions, sachet of Smecta need to pour 100 ml of warm water. For complete dissolution of the drug, carefully mix the powder. Infants can be given "Smectite"mixed in the milk mixture. The drug should be consumed only in the freshly prepared form.

Standard dosage Smecta for adults is three bags of the drug. The daily dose is given in 2-3 doses to achieve a lasting effect, it is necessary to drink the drug for at least three days.

Note
If you are taking any medications, after the use of Smecta, you must wait at least hour interval before their appointment. As "Smectite" is a powerful adsorbent, it disrupts the absorption of other medications that can adversely affect your health.
