Remove the stator of the generator, the winding is placed on it. Place the stator on a noncombustible surface, such as bricks or metal surface. Ignite old insulation, do not be afraid, it does not degrade magnetic properties, and damage the iron. Pre-measure the length of the protruding parts, because for some generators it is critical – don't get out of the housing.
Count the number of turns, sketch a diagram of the winding mark on the stator where the start and end leads of windings. Thoroughly clean the stator steel brush from impurities and prepare it under the wound. Purchase sintoflex, which is an insulating material it is very durable and not pereobulsya on the bends.
Make insulating gaskets that will be 3-4 mm on each side of the groove. Wrap half the turns of one phase and continue the winding process in the other direction to cover the empty frontal part. Thus fulfilling one phase, mark it in the end. Also wrap the other two phases, making sure that the beginnings and the ends of the windings was of sufficient length.
Carefully seal the grooves, put them in the parts of shims that protrude outwards. Check that nothing beyond iron inside. Try the stator cover generator. Look closely, no where touch the windings and the housing. If such a defect occurs, take measures for its elimination.
Connect and propagte the terminals of the windings. Carefully isolate them and check for short circuit between phases if it occurs, make additional insulation at the site of contact. Immerse the stator in a special insulating impregnating varnish. After that, dry it by placing inside a light bulb, or in the oven on low heat. Install the stator in the generator.
