If you have the ability to use a word processor Microsoft Office Word, simply drag and drop a. doc file in the window of this program. If the application is not already running, click on the file twice to one operation and open the program and load the file.

If you do not have access to Microsoft Word, use text editors other manufacturers or free application from Microsoft. The app is called Word Viewer and allows you to open. doc files for viewing, copying and printing. If these options are enough, download the installation package from the server manufacturer - page link given below. After the installation of the viewer program the file you can load it just as described in the first step.

On the same page and download the "compatibility Pack" - once it is setup, you will be able to work with file formats in versions of Word 2007 and 2010 (docx and docm). In addition to the documents word processor Word Viewer allows you to open a file with the extension rtf, txt, htm, html, mht, mhtml, wpd, wps, xml.

If install any additional applications to work with documents with extensions doc, for some reason impossible, please use the format converters. If the computer has a program for working with files such as pdf or txt file, convert the document using the online services. This can be a service ConvertFiles link given below.

Click on the service page and click on the Browse button. Using the opened dialog find the. doc file, highlight it and click "Open". In the drop-down list of Output format, select the format in which you want to convert the file. Choosing txt, keep in mind that the text formatting and embedded in an image will be lost. Then click the Convert button and wait for links to download the converted document.
