To recover the lost or unsaved file, first of all, you need to enable the option "backup". For Microsoft Office Word 2003 sequence will be the following. In the main program window and click the top menu "Tools" and select "Settings". Go to the tab "Save" and check the box next to "Always create backup copy".

For Microsoft Office Word 2007 you need to click on the big button with the Office logo and select "Word Options". Go to the unit "Advanced". Scroll to "Save" and check the box next to "Always create backup copy".

Now, any document created in this text editor can be restored. For Microsoft Office Word 2003 you need to click on top menu "File" and select "Open". In the window that appears, select "recover text from any file", which is in the drop-down list "file Type". Select the document and click "Open" or press Enter.

For Microsoft Office Word 2007 the procedure is similar. The only difference is that instead of menu "File" you will need to click on the Office button.

There is also a possibility to recover the file forcibly, to do this in the dialog box "Open document", you must select the document then click on the triangle next to the "Open" button and choose the option "Open and repair".

In some cases a reboot is required a text editor to restore the file. Start MS Word and call the applet's "document Open". In the column "file Type" select "All files" and select the file with the extension asd. Open it and restart the program window. When re-starting the application will appear on the screen warning about existing unsaved results. Click "Restore" and save the file to any directory.
