You will need
  • - sterile swabs;
  • hydrogen peroxide;
  • - potassium permanganate;
  • - alcohol or Cologne;
  • - antiseptic ointment;
  • - band-aid;
  • - Ichthyol ointment;
  • - antiseptic.

Prepare a minimum of four swab: sterile napkins or pieces of sterile gauze, folded several times. The first two alternately moisten swab with hydrogen peroxide (3% solution sold in pharmacies) and carefully remove them pus. The third swab wet with a weak solution of potassium permanganate, treat them the area of the wound. Please note: the solution should be light pink color. Dark concentrated solution will burn the wound.

After that, take the fourth swab wet it with alcohol or Cologne. If no rubbing alcohol or Cologne, you can use any strong alcoholic drink: vodka, cognac, whiskey, brandy. On the other side of the moistened swab, which will come into contact with the wound, apply antiseptic ointment (e.g., "nasal spray"). Apply the swab, bandage or fasten a strip of adhesive plaster.

This procedure must be repeated daily until complete healing of the wound. If the wound continues to flow and imposed a tampon becomes wet from pus – should be dressing several times a day.

With a strong and ongoing festering wounds need to put the victim in a surgical hospital. Treatment consists in the systematic treatment of the wound, drainage, lavage with antiseptic solutions. Also an antibiotic is prescribed.

And what if you formed a festering sore? Do not open it at home, especially if it is ripe, because it is easy to get infected. Better put on a sterile cloth or bandage piece Ichthyol ointment (you can use mercurial ointment or ointment Vishnevsky). Apply the cloth to the boil, bandage or secure it with adhesive plaster. These ointments well pull the pus from the abscess. If necessary, repeat this procedure every day.

When the abscess itself break, wash the wound with a solution of any antiseptic, for example, "Chlorhexidine". If not, you can use the already mentioned Cologne or spirits.
