How to find out debt on taxes in Moscow

Visit the official website of the Federal tax service of Russia. Note the horizontal menu, highlighted in blue in the upper part of the main page.

Hover over the section "E-services". The page will pop up a submenu. Select the fourth paragraph "Know your debt".

Read the information regarding the usage of the "Know your debt". If you fully agree with all the above, click the "I agree". Button located at the bottom of the page.

Enter in the special field taxpayer identification number, their name, patronymic and surname. The region will appear automatically it is linked to the tax office where you received the certificate on statement on the tax account.

Enter the six-digit security code in the special window. After that press the "Find" button located in the bottom right of the page.

Examine information about the amount of debt on payment of taxes. If you don't have it, you see the words "Debt is missing".

Keep in mind that in the case of moving to another region you could be in arrears in the payment of tax to the budget of another entity of the Russian Federation. Therefore, repeat the request. Keep in mind that for Moscow and the Moscow region need to do different queries.

Call the Contact center Management FNS of Russia on the city of Moscow by phone 495-276-2222 and ask the employee to inform you of the subject and the amount of your debt. Give him your social security number, name and surname.

Visit the Inspectorate of Federal tax service. The list of offices with addresses is available on the official website of the Department FNS of Russia across Moscow in the section "Structure of the Federal tax service of Russia". Ask the employee to print out the detail of the debt. You will also provide receipts for payment.
