Instruction
1
Prepare the damaged surface of the plastic to repair. It must be sanded to remove all contamination. If the fault can be glued (as a rule, the repair preferred for plastics with a content of epoxy -, phenolic-formaldehyde and other resins), be sure to clean shared areas with acetone and dry them.
2
Apply the adhesive composition directly on a seam, according to the manufacturer's instructions on the label means. To put it can spray, brush or (for narrow gaps) is a syringe. You can also strengthen the chipped plastic with glass fiber.
3
Parts match as carefully as you can! So they are not shifted and shrunk, as the press is recommended to use a clamp.
4
If you want to restore the plastic with a small scratch, try to do abrasive toothpaste. Work on the belt sander with a foam nozzle.
5
If you need to solder plastic, treat the damaged skin surface approximately 1 cm from the edge is necessary for the reliability of the seam (after the weld area will have to take the allowance).
6
Find any solder – a wire of the same composition as the plastic product. Collect the shattered pieces of plastic together and fix them with clamp.
7
Start spike plastic from the front side to eliminate the appearance of swelling. Your task – to engineer the wire in the softened plastic mass.
8
If you want to strengthen the seam, then attach the inside of the fracture of the reinforcing strip of brass mesh (the optimum thickness is 0.2 mm). It also needs to be recessed into the plastic, the heated soldering iron.
9
Complete repair of plastic coloring. This again scuff the surface (grit sandpaper No. 1000) and clean it with special cleaner for plastic. Run your palm along the seam to ensure no rough edges and ridges.
10
Take primer for plastic in a spray and a good retraite it. Then cover the detail of the ground 2-3 times, hold the bottle at a distance of 20 cm When the surface is completely dry, again easily scuff it and degrease it.
11
Spray the seam or worn crack dye for this type of plastic, matching it exactly to match the main coloring of the product. Let one layer dry for 15 minutes, after which you can repeat the procedure 2-3 more times.
12
If you managed to recover the originally lacquered plastic, then an hour later after coloring, you can ulcerate updated thing.
Useful advice
The remains of the plastic mass, which is soluble in acetone (polystyrene, plexiglass, etc.) can be filled with solvent and used to join broken plastic items. Such an improvised glue you pour into a glass jar with a lid and use only in well ventilated area. After a few days the mass will harden.
