You will need
    • For arnautki on the water:
    • 1 tbsp. arnautki;
    • 2 tbsp. water;
    • 1 tbsp. butter;
    • salt.
    • For "fried" porridge:
    • 2 tbsp. arnautki;
    • 5 cups of water;
    • 2 tbsp. butter;
    • salt.
    • Sweet arnautki:
    • 2 tbsp. arnautki;
    • 3-3.5 tbsp. milk;
    • 3-5 tablespoons of honey;
    • 50 g of walnuts.

Arnautka on the water

Pour water in a pan to water took no more than ¾ of its volume, bring to a boil, add salt. Rinse the groats thoroughly and add to boiling water, add butter and cook 20 minutes, stirring constantly, to the porridge thickens. Remove the porridge from heat, close the lid, wrap tightly with a towel and allow porridge to stand for 15-20 minutes.

"Fried" porridge

Sort and rinse the groats thoroughly, drain the water, pour the water into a saucepan, put on fire, add salt and wait until boil. Take a dry and clean pan, bring to the boil and pour it on grits, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the grits a little will not change color and not dried. Watch to prevent grits from burning.

Pour the grits into the boiling water gradually, using a tablespoon – a spoon, no more. Stir when vysypite all quarters in the water. Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan with a lid, but not too tightly so that the steam could get out. Wait until boil water and put in the cereal 2 tablespoons butter, stir, remove from heat, close the lid, wrap a towel and allow porridge to stand for 20 minutes.

Sweet arnautka

Put in porridge honey, when it will absorb a large part of milk and is almost ready, stir and cook for a further couple of minutes. Remove the porridge from heat, stir in the nuts, stir, close the lid, wrap a towel and let stand another 5-10 minutes.
