Indications for "Bronholitin" and its analogs



Mucosolvan and its analogues "Bernhausen Framed", "Bronhoton", "Bronchosan" is available in the syrup form. The active ingredients of these drugs are the same: part of the preparations include glaucine, oil, Basil, ephedrine. Ephedrine dilates the bronchi, reduces the edema of the mucosa, improves respiratory function. Basil oil has a mild antispasmodic, sedative, antimicrobial action. Glaucine suppresses coughing.
In syrup "Bernhausen Framed" Basil oil is missing.


Mucosolvan and analogues prescribed as a means of suppressing a cough and dilates the bronchi, acute and chronic bronchitis, tracheobronchitis, whooping cough, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia. "Bronholitin", "Bernhausen Framed", "Bronhoton", "Bronchosan" should take one tablespoon three to four times a day. The children, ranging in age from 3 to 10 years, giving one teaspoon of syrup three times a day, and children aged 10 years - two teaspoons three times a day.

Arterium "Bernhausen Framed", "Bronhoton" contraindicated in coronary atherosclerosis, insomnia, hyperthyroidism, angina, angle-closure glaucoma, arterial hypertension, chronic heart failure, prostatic hypertrophy, pheochromocytoma, children under 3 years of age, women during pregnancy (1st trimester) and lactation. "Bronchosan" not prescribed for ischemic heart disease, hyperthyroidism, in children up to three years, during pregnancy and during lactation.
At simultaneous reception with simpatolitikami Mucosolvan reduces their hypotensive effect.


Mucosolvan may cause the following side effects: tachycardia, dizziness, high blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, constipation, difficulty urinating, urinary retention (in patients with prostatic hypertrophy), skin rash, increased sweating, blurred vision, tachyphylaxis, hypertension, insomnia, agitation, tremor. Children Mucosolvan may cause drowsiness.

"Bernhausen Framed" increases blood pressure and heart rate, dilates the pupils, inhibits intestinal peristalsis, reduces appetite, stimulates the Central nervous system. "Bronhoton" causes an increase in blood pressure, tachycardia, dizziness, nausea. "Brochocin" leads to increased excitability of the Central nervous system, can cause sweating, loss of appetite, difficulty urinating.
