Decide on the Latin from which historical period you want to translate the text. Classical Latin is quite different in its syntax and in places on the vocabulary from the medieval Latin language. This will depend on which grammar guide you will need to use.

Pick up the books needed for your translation. Russian-Latin dictionary can be purchased at the bookstore, at the library or downloaded online. If you need to make special translation, choose a thematic dictionary, for example, medical or legal. Also find any grammar guide. Start to translate the text. First, find out the translation into Latin of some Russian words. Then wait of them correct sentence in the Latin language. Consider the difference in Latin and Russian syntax. For example, the verb in most cases is placed at the end of the sentence.
