SIM-card of MTS it is possible to block using the service "Internet assistant". To access the "Internet assistant" you need to go to the page https://ihelper.mts.ru/selfcare/ and enter in the appropriate fields of the your mobile phone number and password. In the left part of the window that opens you will see a menu. One section of the menu called "Lock number". To set the password on your mobile phone dial *111*25# and follow the instructions of the system. That is, if your SIM card when you aren't there to set a password to enter the "Internet assistant" before, to use this service will fail.

You can contact MTS Contact centre. If you have at hand another phone to the SIM card of MTS, dial 0890. If you are calling from a landline phone to any other mobile operator, dial 8 800 333 08 90. Wait for connection with the operator, report the reason for blocking of the SIM card and call your passport details. Immediately your room block.

The third way to block the SIM card of MTS - go to your nearest communication salon. After you present your passport, your SIM card will block. Also in the salon you can get another SIM card with your same number, balance and all the services that were previously connected. Recovery SIM card for free.
Note
Be sure to lock the SIM card in case of loss. If you do not, you can get a very hefty bill from the mobile operator. Scammers out your SIM card to the Internet to call another country or make calls while in a roaming area.
Useful advice
If the SIM card is framed not by you, then to lock it via the Contact centre or salon, you must appeal the person in whose name the contract is designed.
