How to block a number of MTS

Trouble is not always possible to avoid, and if you lose your phone or have it stolen, the first thing you need to do is to block the number. Making it in time, you will protect yourself from possible fraud.

Instruction

Block number of MTS in three ways:
Call MTS contact centre to number 8 800 333 08 90 or +7 495 766 01 66. This is the fastest way to block a number. In case of loss of phone is preferable to choose this option.

If you do not have a phone but have a computer and Internet access, you can block a number by going to "Internet assistant" on MTS site at https://ihelper.mts.ru/selfcare. The difficulty can occur if you have not previously applied to "web assistant", and you have no password, which requires your mobile phone.

Go to the nearest salon-shop of MTS, where the company's employees will block your number. In addition, the cabin shop you will be able to obtain free of charge new SIM card with your old number and balance on the account.

Note

For blocking numbers over the phone or in the salon-shop of MTS you will need to present a passport. If the number is not registered in your name, to ask about blocking rooms follows the person has been issued a contract.
