You will need
  • - joint statement on conclusion of marriage or separate statements, certified by a notary;
  • - passports or other identity documents;
  • document on the termination of the previous marriage;
  • - resolution of local authority to the marriage of minors;
  • receipt about payment of state duty.

If you decide to become husband and wife and to register their relationship, contact any on the Registrar of your choice, present their passports or other identity documents, and submit a joint statement on marriage. The form can be obtained directly from the Registrar office or download from legal databases or online resources.

Specify the statement of surname, name, patronymic, date and place of birth, and the number of complete years at the time of marriage registration. Fill in the column "Citizenship" and "residence," and the desire "Nationality", although this is not required. Fill in the appropriate line of the passport data: series, number, date of issue and the name of the authority issuing the passport.

In that case, if either of the prospective spouses was previously married, you need to make a mark in a special column of the application as well as attach document confirming the termination of previous marriage: a divorce certificate, a death certificate or the court decision declaring the other spouse is deceased.

Don't forget to reflect in the statement of marriage wishes about future names. You can select the total for both spouses (most often it is the husband's name), to write pre-marital or take a double, combining the names of the husband and wife.

Keep in mind that by signing the Declaration, you indicate your voluntary consent to the marriage, and the absence of obstacles to its conclusion: the state in a registered marriage, kinship or adoption recognized by court as incapacitated. If the registry office will reveal the presence of any of these circumstances, registration will be denied.

If for some reason you can't be in the registry office and submit a joint statement, you can declare your wish to marry any single document, assuring his signature at the notary.

Marriage age in Russia is 18 years. However, the Family code of the Russian Federation provides for the possibility of marriage before reaching the age of majority, but this requires the approval of the local authority. This document also has to be presented when applying for marriage.

The registration of the marriage is subject to state duty in the amount of 200 rubles. Pay it in the Bank and attach the receipt to the statement.
