What his whole body was covered with festering wound that could not heal, no healer. Healed the young Prince the daughter of a collector of honey by the name of Fevronia, having uncorked the salve. After a while the disease to the Prince returned. He was forced to turn back to the girl for help and this time have kept her word.

Soon Paul died, and the princely power passed to Peter. The boyars were dissatisfied with the low birth of the Princess. Asked her to take what she wants, and to leave the city. They lived to a ripe old age. At the end of life took monastic vows and was punished to bury them together. Died Peter and Fevronia in one day and hour. But the last Testament of the spouses has not been done: put them in separate coffins and scattered to different churches. Soon, however, the deceased were found together. People tried several times to separate the bodies of Peter and Fevronia, but they will still be around.

Although the life of the righteous is written based on the legends, but there are records, (for example, the resurrection and others) confirming the Board of Murom in 1203 by Prince, which cured the girl from a simple class, later became his wife.
