  • pan.
Instruction
1
Take a glass bowl and pour the desired amount of oil. Is a glass Cup or a Bank with a volume of up to half a liter. Pour as much oil so it fills no more than half capacity. If you need a very small amount, which will be enough only for one application, can be used for water bath a regular Cup with a volume of 250 ml, filling it halfway.
2
Place the container of oil in a pan. Then pour in a pot of water in such quantity that its level was slightly above the oil level (minimum of 3-5 cm). Note, however, that the larger the container of oil, the higher should be the level of the water relative to the oil level. Cover the pan with a lid is not necessary.
3
Put the saucepan on the stove and bring the water to a boil and then slightly reduce heat. The time during which sunflower oil is warmed in a water bath depends on the amount of oil. For example, if you are using a tank with a volume of about 500 ml half-filled with oil, it should boil for about 25-30 minutes. If you took a little jar or a Cup with a volume of 250 ml, to keep the oil on fire after the water has boiled, should not be more than 10-15 minutes.
4
In the process of boiling stir butter with a wooden spoon. Please note that sunflower oil is boiling, as it is too thick for this consistency. Warming in a water bath in itself makes the oil is sterile and does not require boiling. However, if you simmer the oil too long, it may too become hot and ignite. Therefore, carefully watch the time: keep sunflower oil in a water bath should not be more than 20-30 minutes from the moment of boiling water.
5
A little cool boiled oil, without removing it from the pan, and then cover the pan and leave until cool. Usually the oil is almost completely cooled for 30-40 minutes. After this time pour the oil into a tank from where it will be easy to pour from. If you plan on using boiled sunflower oil a few times, take it for storage of pre-sterilized jar with a tight-fitting lid. But it should be noted that sterilized sunflower oil should not be stored longer than a day. It is better to use it right, and new portions of the oil boil as needed.
