How to restart your laptop

Lower prices on laptops and the emergence of electronic market of powerful portable computers has allowed many to abandon the use of bulky and noisy system units. But if the system unit has always been a Reset button with which you can restart the computer, then the laptop reboots otherwise.

In any case, we recall the traditional method of restarting any computer (both stationary and laptop) running on Windows operating system. Click "start" - "shutdown", and then click "Restart". Making three clicks, you complete the working system and perform a reboot procedure.

There are cases where software faults or system errors lead to freeze of the computer. But laptop there is no Reset button, but restart it in the following way: press and hold the power button of the laptop for a few seconds. In most cases, this will lead to power down the laptop. You can then turn it on again.

If the power button doesn't click, you can resort to another method. If you pull the battery in the laptop, it will automatically turn off. Inserting the battery back, it will be possible to turn on the laptop. Just remember to disconnect the power cord from the laptop before you will be to take out the battery.

Remember that in case of a forced reboot of the laptop all unsaved data may be lost.
