You will need
  • filled in duplicate application form;
  • internal passport and copies of all pages that contains any information;
  • - receipt confirming payment of the fee;
  • - old passport (if any);
  • - military ID (for men);
  • - 4 photo 3,5x4,5 (for old passport);
  • - a copy of the work book, certified at the place of work.

On the official website of the FMS you can download the application form-questionnaire should complete without errors and erasures. Questionnaire for passports of the old sample is accepted as in the manuscript version (mandatory only in black ink) and printed on the computer. Applications for biometric passports should be issued by using technical means.

Sign the completed application at the place of work. Also don't forget to assure and a copy of the workbook. If you are students, the signature on your application form have to put the head of the institution. Citizens who are neither studying nor working, a statement to assure not required.
Remember that a certified questionnaire is valid for only ten days during this period, you must apply to the FMS.

Pay the state fee according to the details specified on the official website of FMS. Also the account number you can find at your nearest branch of the Migration Service. The duty amount depends on the passport you plan to get. Also there are special prices for minors.

Ready documents must be submitted to the nearest division FMS:

- Frunze str., 20;

- Uralskaya St., 70A;

- building Civil, 4;

- St. Sailors, 8b;

- Union St., 25;

- Krylov St., 2;

- St. East, 160.

When applying for a biometric passport, the photograph will be made on the spot. If you apply for a passport the old model, your photos should be pasted on the application form.

The passport will be ready about 4 weeks, so apply for registration several months in advance.

In some cases extradition of a foreign passport may be refused. The reasons for this are:

- you have access to classified information;

- conscription for military service (including civil alternative);

- evasion of obligations imposed on you by the court;

- providing false information when submitting documents;

- no departure before the end of the punishment for committing a crime;

- the passage in a criminal case as a suspect or an accused pending a decision on the case).
