In operation, the processor consumes a lot electrical energy it turns into heat, and the CPU heats up. To prevent excessive heating, the processor is equipped with a powerful radiator. The radiator consists of many thin parallel plates and the fan, which drives airflow through the fins. The air flow cools the plate, and hence the processor.
2
To clean the dust on the inside of the radiator or access the CPU, remove the fan. To do this, disconnect all external cables and power from the computer system unit. Put the system unit on its side in a fairly lit area, so it will be easier to work with. Remove the side cover from the system unit of your computer. Usually the cover is held by screws or latches. Loosen the screws and slide the cover back. It will pass through the grooves of the frame and will be removed.
3
Find the fan of the processor. Standard in the computer case three fans: power supply, video card, processor. To the fan of the PSU to get complicated. Don't confuse the fan on the video card with a fan on the processor. Video card - almost always at the top of Board that sticks out from the connector in the motherboard. So when you put the system unit, the Central fan will be horizontal.
4
Determine the type of fastening of the fan. It can be defined by the appearance: either the screws or the mount in the form of latches. Carefully loosen the screws if the fan is mounted on them. Choose the right size screw heads screwdriver, so as not to disrupt the slot. Loosen the screws, usually 4. Detach attachment in the form of latches, if the fan is mounted on them. Raise the two metal or plastic lever, if the mount is different. Carefully separate the fan from the radiator.
