In order to enable the "Sleep mode" hover the mouse cursor on an empty space on the desktop and click the right button of the mouse.

In the appeared menu select "Properties".

In the opened window click on the tab "screen Saver" and press the "Power"button.

Then you choose the tab "Sleeping mode" and next to "Allow the use of sleep modeand put a check mark. Click "OK".
Note
When you enable sleep mode, the system will need to reserve a 2048 MB free hard disk space. This is necessary so that when the computer goes into "Sleep mode" remember your unsaved files. Therefore, if the disk has insufficient free space to activate the "Sleep mode" will fail.
Useful advice
To go to sleep, you should go to "start"–>"Off". Then you must hold down the Shift key instead of the button "Standby" button appears in the "Sleep mode".
To exit sleep mode, simply turn off the computer as usually you do.
