To access the properties page of the file, go to the directory where you saved the file, click on its icon with the right mouse button and click the last item "Properties".

In the dialog box, click the General tab. This tab includes information about what type of the chosen file, where is it located and what is its size. Just below it is indicated the time of creation of the file (number, month, year, hour, minute, second), and includes information about when it was last changed and opened.

The date and time of creation of the file can be read using the program Total Commander and similar. Run TC and navigate to the file. Required information is indicated in the right part of the row with the name of the file. If you want to quickly see only the time of the last change of the file, you can use the common tasks pane of folders.

Go to the directory where you saved the file and highlight it by hovering mouse cursor to the icon. In the bottom panel of typical tasks folder will reflect summary information about the file. These data are identical to those displayed when opening the page properties. If a little longer to hold the cursor on the icon of the file, the popup window would also be affected by brief information about the file.

To configure the display pane common tasks in folders through the start menu, call up "control Panel" and select category "appearance and themes" icon "folder options". Another way: open any folder and in the menu "tools" select "folder options".

In the opened window, make active the "General" tab and in the "Tasks", select the marker item "display a list of common tasks in folders". Click on the "Apply" button to make the configuration take effect and close the window by pressing OK button or icon [x] in the upper right corner of the window.
