Help menu the Microsoft Windows operating system by pressing the "start" button and click "All programs" to perform the procedures necessary to reduce the size of Excel files.

Point to Microsoft Office, and run the Excel application.

Open to edit the book and open the tools menu of the top toolbar of the application window in Microsoft Excel 2003 or go to the 'Review' tab in Excel 2007.

Select "share workbook" and apply the check box on the "do Not keep history of changes."

Save the selected change and select the desired time interval (default is 30 days).

Make sure that you are using a standard font - Arial Cyr for Excel 2003 or Corbel for Excel 2007 and please remove the extra conditional formatting. To do this, highlight the range and expand the menu "edit" of the top toolbar in Excel 2003 or click on the Home tab in Excel 2007.

Enter the command "Clear" and select "Format" for Excel 2003 or the "Clear formats" to Excel 2007.

Optimize used formulas and minimize them - use "or" instead of "IF" and "EOS" instead of "ELISHEBA".

Use the macros that allow you to convert formulas to values after the command "Recalculate" to reduce the number of formulas, columns and rows and refrain from using formatting entire sheet of paper.

Try not to use graphs and charts, replacing them with the drawings and select the option "No fill" instead of "Fill white".

Try not to use names in the tables (to display the names in the book weed simultaneously pressing function keys Ctrl+F3) and select the version of Microsoft Excel 2007. The file sizes are reduced on average two and a half times.
