Useful oatmeal: old English recipe



Ingredients (for 4 servings):
- 1 tbsp. whole grain cereal;
- 2-2,5 cups of water;
- 40 g of raisins;
- 4 tsp of honey;
- 4 tsp. walnut or vegetable oil.

Pour water into a saucepan and place on high heat. Stir the cereal into the boiling liquid, thoroughly mixing them with the other hand with a wooden spoon. Once the mixture will begin to thicken, lower the heat to average and simmer the porridge for 20-25 minutes, remembering to stir. Decompose the dish on plates and add to each serving with a spoonful of honey and oil, and 10 grams of raisins.


Useful oatmeal with fruit



Ingredients (for 2 servings):
- 1/2 Cup fine oatmeal;
- 1 tbsp. water;
- 1 strong, but ripe pear;
- 4-5 stuff dried apricots;
- cinnamon on the tip of a knife;
- 1 tsp of sugar;
- 2 tbsp of butter.

Wash the apricots, finely chop, pour 1 Cup of boiling water and cook for 3-5 minutes on medium heat. Enter in the resulting broth flakes and cook until completely cooked through 5-7 minutes. Meanwhile, peel pears from the skin, cut out the core and chop the flesh into small pieces. Put them in porridge with cinnamon and sugar and let simmer all together for another minute. Season the dish with butter and serve for Breakfast.
If you prefer instead of sugar to sweeten the oatmeal with honey is useful, put it into the pot after 5-10 minutes of cooling, otherwise the high temperature will destroy its magical properties.


Vitamin oatmeal pomegranate juice with cream cheese



Ingredients (for 4-6 servings):
- 200-250 g small fast razvivayuscikhsya oatmeal;
- 300 ml of pomegranate juice (not concentrate);
- 300 g low-fat cottage cheese;
- sugar;
- 200 grams of any berries or fruits (fresh);
- 40 g of almonds.

Oatmeal pomegranate juice is very useful because not only a sufficient amount of fiber and micronutrients, but also the availability of vitamin C. However, it is not recommended to eat for people with high acidity of the stomach.
Pour cereal in a medium-size pot, pull apart the pomegranate juice and place on low heat. Not boiling red liquid, not to destroy the vitamins contained in the juice, boil the porridge until it thickens. Sweeten it to taste, then transfer to a glass or wooden bowl and let half cool down. Slice all the berries, fruits, what is at hand, and mix them with cottage cheese and oatmeal. Divide nutritious meal into portions and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
