The potassium permanganate solution is indicated for poisoning. Once in the stomach, it has a disinfectant action. Also this tool is used to gargle in scarlet fever and sore throat. No less effective potassium permanganate and sinusitis. In addition, the solution can be applied for treatment of superficial and deep wounds, burns, athlete's foot, lesions of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, urological and gynecological diseases and hemorrhoids.

To make gastric lavage 0.1% solution of potassium permanganate. As the solution will be taken inside, for its preparation use only boiled water. Pour 1 gram of powder in a liter of water temperature 37-38 degrees. Carefully stir the liquid and strain it through three layers of cheesecloth. The finished solution should have a purple hue, but transparent. Make sure that no undissolved drug crystals which can burn the stomach lining.

For the treatment of burns, prepare a more concentrated solution. Dissolve 2 grams of potassium permanganate in half a glass of water. As in the previous case, strain the resulting drug. Externally, the solution is used cold, and therefore before using the cool it to room temperature.

Prepare 5% solution for the treatment of deep wounds, particularly pressure ulcers. For this, 100 ml of water pour the whole 5 gram package of potassium permanganate.

Eyewash in a glass of water, add a few crystals of potassium permanganate. Even a pale pink solution has disinfectant properties, and therefore helps conjunctivitis. In the same way prepares the medication for douching gynecological diseases.
