How to glue foam rubber

You will need

glue "rapid 100", BF-6, "88", "88-N";
- iron
- clean rag.

For gluing foam use contact adhesives on neoprene, polyurethane or styrene-butadiene basis. These types of adhesives originally used in the wood processing and footwear industry, and then found wide application in the manufacture of upholstered furniture.

Please note that more modern, though not the cheapest compositions for gluing foam are non-combustible base. Also apply waterborne adhesives that are virtually harmless to humans and the environment.

One of the special glues used in the manufacture of upholstered furniture and gluing foam parts, is part of the "rapid 100". The composition of flammable solvents, so it is safe in the fire relation. Use this adhesive if the main criterion for the finished product is a soft glue line.

Prepare the parts and apply glue to the surfaces to be glued, using a special spray gun. The second method of applying the adhesive involves the use of a soft brush or rollers, but this increases glue consumption.
