How to create a non-profit organization

You will need

- statement on establishing a non-profit organization;
three copies of constituent documents;
- decision of founders on establishment of non-profit organizations;
- information about the founders;
- receipt of payment of state duty for registration;
- information about the address of the permanently functioning body of the nonprofit organization.

According to the law, non-profit organization is an organization that does not have as a primary purpose of the activity extraction of profit and do not distribute profit among their participants. Such organizations are created to achieve social, cultural, educational and other similar purposes. You can create them in various forms, under the laws - for example, in the form of religious organizations, public associations, noncommercial partnership, etc.

A nonprofit organization is considered created from the moment of its state registration. Such organizations must register with the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. Further information about them is entered in the register. For registration submit to the territorial body of the Ministry of Justice statutory documents within a period not later than three months from the date of the decision on creation.

The authorized body shall take a decision on state registration of non-profit organizations no later than fourteen working days from the date of receipt of documents. After this decision, the necessary documents and information will be sent to this body for registration and make the required changes to EGRUL so you will just have to wait. The entry in the register about a new nonprofit organization must be paid within five working days. No later than three working days after that you as the founder of the nonprofit organization will receive a certificate of state registration. On the date specified in the certificate, you may consider your organization created.
