  • - nVidia Conrtol Panel.
Instruction
1
Before overclocking make sure that your device is set to cooling. A sharp change in the characteristics of the equipment will lead to a jump in temperature. Clean the cooler of your video card from dust and check the temperature readings using the software AIDA.
2
Disable unnecessary features of the graphics card. It is worth noting that the data manipulation can degrade image quality. Open "nVidia control Panel" or AMD Control Center. Go to the settings menu 3D settings-applications.
3
Uncheck the functions that do not use most programs. Be sure to disable the following settings: anisotropic filtering, antialiasing, and vertical sync. The last option can not be disabled if your monitor supports a frequency of 90-100 Hz.
4
If possible, set the other parameters in the mode "Maximum performance". Save the settings. Download and install Riva Tuner.
5
After starting the program click "Configure" and go to "driver Settings". Activate change settings at the driver level, click on the corresponding item. Be sure to specify the 3D mode of the graphics card.
6
Now you need to change the position of the sliders for the frequencies of core and memory. Do not rush immediately to dramatically increase the settings of the graphics card. For a start raise your frequency of 20-30 MHz.
7
Click "Apply". Run the program to test the stability of your video card. It is best to use 3D Mark. Please note that each test will be given 12-15 minutes.
8
After finding the limit of the video card lower both the frequency of 30-50 MHz. Click "Apply". Check the box next to "Load settings with Windows". Then restart the computer.
