Instruction
1
On a strictly horizontal level surface, place the glass or mirror, amalgam down. Please note, between the glass and the table surface should be no gaps, bulges, or sagging. Achieve a snug fit of the glass to the surface.
2
Take two pieces of wood with a length of 60 cm and two bars with a length of 2 m. Treat them with sandpaper so they were smooth and had no burrs.
3
Attach them to the glass to make a rectangle with right angles. You produce the formwork for the subsequent flooding it with a solution.
4
From a bar 20 x 40 mm, cut 20 identical lengths, lengths of 3 – 5 see It stops shuttering. Glue them to the glass so that in the end of each bar rests the formwork was not shifted in the process of casting the solution. Allow pan to dry.
5
While dry form, prepare a solution for casting. To do this, take the cement and marble chips and mix them together in ratio of 1:10 by adding water. To provide the desired color, blend color pigments for concrete. You should get a solution on density reminiscent of sour cream or batter.
6
When the moulding has dried, take the clay and lay it around the perimeter of the casing in the inner part. So you shape the future edge countertops from stone. In order for the edge to obtain a smooth, leveled the clay one scraper desired shape.
7
Grease formwork a thin layer of sunflower oil. Pour the first layer of mortar to the middle of the height of the bar.
8
While the first coat dries, prepare the reinforced mesh. To do this, take a few flat pieces of rebar with a length of 198 cm and several sections of rebar with a length of 58 cm and using tie wire connect them crosswise. You should now have a grid of 50x50 mm. Put this grid on the first filled layer and gently press on it with your fingers only so that it never touched the glass and was in one plane. Pour the second layer of mortar to the top of the formwork and remove excess with a spatula.
9
After drying remove the mold, turn over homemade stone countertop and Polish the surface so that started to make marble inclusions.
