The suburbs of St. Petersburg are beautiful. Visit at least one of them, even if you come only for a few days. Many guests of the Northern capital, starting with the suburbs of Peterhof. To get to the "capital of fountains" can be by electric train from the Baltic station. You need the train to Oranienbaum or Kalishche. Go to Peterhof and buses mainly from the metro station "Avtovo". With Vitebsk station you can go to Pavlovsk and Pushkin. In these suburbs to magnificent parks, palaces, the famous Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum. If you like old castles, you should probably use the cities and villages, as Vyborg, Shlisselburg, Priozersk, Koporye and Ivangorod. To Vyborg, Schlisselburg and Priozersk are the train from the Finnish station. In the Vyborg castle and Korela you get without problems, and Shlisselburg fortress is located on the island, a message which even in summer is not always possible. But it is usually possible to hire a boat on the shore.

In Ivangorod can be reached by the suburban train from the Baltic station, Tallinn train. There is also a version with change – to get from the metro station "Moskovskaya" by bus to Kingisepp, then change for the bus to Ivangorod. To get into Koporye, you need to get to the station "Oranienbaum I", go to the bus station, which is located next to the train and get on a minibus or the bus to Koporye.
