The structure of the Bible is a collection of religious, philosophical and historical texts, written by different people, at different times and in different languages over 1600 years. It is believed that the most ancient texts date from 1513 BC Only the Bible included 77 books, but their number in different publications may vary, as not all of them are recognized as canonical, i.e., sacred and divinely inspired. 11 books recognized as apocryphal, some religious denominations reject and not include in their editions of the Bible.

The Bible is divided into 2 parts – old Testament and New Testament. The first part is the old Testament, also called the Sacred history of the pre-Christian era, includes 50 books, 38 of which are considered canonical. It is believed that the texts of the old Testament was written in 1513 in 443 BC by the people, which descended the Grace of God. The new Testament is also called the Sacred history of early Christianity. It includes 27 books, approximately one fourth of the total volume of the Bible. In the New Testament is comprised of 4 canonical Gospels. In Greek, "gospel" means "good news" "good news". To date the authorship of the Gospels is considered to be not proven. Matthew and John are disciples, and mark and Luke the disciples of the apostles. Eyewitnesses of the presented events, the evangelists could not be, as we lived in the first century BC, and the earliest manuscripts of these texts are dated II-III centuries. It is possible that the gospel record of oral tradition of unknown people. In any case, some priests prefer to tell the congregation that the authors of these books is unknown.
