The combination of these components leads to faster onset of analgesia and increases the duration. Used as filler ethyl alcohol helps disinfect the ear canal.


Pain relief occurs in the first 2-3 minutes. Anti-inflammatory effect "Otipaks" is already apparent after 2 days. The drug has no ototoxic effect, it has no age limit. "Drops" is used 3-4 times a day 4 drops into the ear canal. Allowed to put in a sore ear turundy for 2 hours. Therapy should not be longer than 10 days.

In the "Sofradeks" includes antibiotics and corticosteroids, so the drug has a pronounced antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antiallergic action. However, drops do not contain analgesic, and therefore will not be able to help get rid of pain. Drug use at 3 drops 4 times a day. The duration of therapy should not exceed 7 days.

The application of the "Sofradeks" can cause side effects that manifest in the form of local allergic reactions (itching, burning, pain in the ear canal). The drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation, infants, patients suffering from hepatic and renal insufficiency. Caution should be used for the treatment of younger children.
