Connect your printer to the mains, make sure the condition of a power cable. Take the original or compatible cartridges. Examine the illustrations on the cover or in the manual. Properly install them in a network-connected equipment.

Remove the USB cable. It must be connected to the computer and the printer in the appropriate connectors. When properly connected, the system your PC will display a message about detecting new hardware. Open the found new hardware wizard. In most cases, this window should appear automatically. Locate the drive software for your printer. Insert it into the drive PC.

The found new hardware wizard will automatically find and install the needed printer driver. You only need to promptly acknowledge requests from the system. For example, click the pop-up icon "next" in the wizard. If the device software installed properly, Windows will display a corresponding message:"the device is installed and ready to use".

To check the settings for the printer via the menu item "start" in the tab "control Panel". Locate the menu item "Printers and faxes". Select from the list of devices your printer. Its designation must match the name of an installed device. To check, click print, right-click on the printer icon. In the opened window find the button "print Test page".

If you have multiple computers connected to a local network, and to one of the PC the printer is connected, the equipment can be configured to use on all PC private LAN. Go to "start" on the computer with the preinstalled printer. Select "Printers and faxes" or "Devices and printers". Select "add printer". Will open the familiar add new hardware wizard.

In the wizard select "a Network printer" and confirm the queries from the system, click "next". From the master list of devices, select the printer shared. To the system request on the use of the default device, click the manipulator on the "OK" button. Windows will automatically detect the settings properly installed network device. Access print must appear on all computers on the private LAN.
