To cook the pasta al dente, you will need one pack of pasta. It must be the pasta from durum wheat. Choose quality Italian pasta. Cooked pasta of this sort will remain solid sufficient, you're not going too fast to soft after boiling like regular pasta. In addition, this dish will have a small glycemic index, and will not lead to the increase of sugar level in the blood.
You also need to prepare 1 onion, 3 cloves of garlic, a small bunch of parsley and a jar of diced tomatoes. Can add salt to taste.
The cooking process
Take a large saucepan with a thick bottom. Fill the water with 1 liter of water per 100 grams of pasta. When the water boils, add salt.
In slightly boiling water drop pasta. Put them in the Central part of the pan, so they were in place very rapid boil. Make the fire a little stronger and reduce it after the water boils again. Frequently stir the pasta and do not cover it with a lid.
Look on the package cooking time of pasta. Cook them for a few minutes less than the specified time. Try them several times. You can also get out of the pan one piece of spaghetti and break it. If inside, it will be white in color, very different from the outer part, the pasta is not ready yet. If the color difference is not very noticeable, drain the water.
Put the pasta in a colander. Drain the water, move it to the pan. Ensure that the liquid glass is not to end, otherwise the pasta will be too dry. To make tomato dressing, about 5-7 minutes, saute in a pan the tomatoes, adding garlic, onion and salt. Lay out pasta on top of pasta and garnish the dish with finely chopped parsley.
The variants of filling
Heat olive oil, add chopped garlic, two tomatoes, and Basil. After a few minutes, add to the dressing the chopped beans, pepper, thyme, salt and sugar. Can also pour a small amount of water. Boiling the sauce will combine with pasta. Then put grated cheese.
Another variant of filling – a mixture of cream, broccoli, ginger, sweet corn and nuts. Join these ingredients and a few minutes to sauté in the pan.
