"Aspirin Cardio": indications and contraindications
"Aspirin Cardio" is available in the form of tablets with enteric shell. The active ingredient of the drug – acetylsalicylic acid. "Aspirin Cardio" is prescribed for diseases involving the risk of excessive thrombosis. It is used for the treatment and prevention of all forms of ischemic heart disease, stable and unstable angina, myocardial infarction, operations on the heart and blood vessels. Since drug pills have acid resistant shell, acetylsalicylic acid is released not in the stomach and in the duodenum. As a result, the absorption of the active substance is slowed down three to six hours compared to conventional tablets.

"Aspirin Cardio" is contraindicated in bronchial asthma caused by the intake of salicylates and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, with the combination of bronchial asthma, polyps of the nose (paranasal sinuses) and intolerance to aspirin, acute exacerbations of erosive and ulcerative lesions, bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract. It cannot be used in hemorrhagic diathesis, during pregnancy (first and third trimesters), lactation (lactation), children and adolescents up to 18 years of age, renal and hepatic insufficiency, chronic heart failure, hypersensitivity to aspirin and other NSAIDs. "Aspirin Cardio" you need to take from 0.1 to 0.3 grams once a day (in a day or two), before eating, squeezed more liquid. The course of treatment is long (in some cases lifelong), it should be set by the physician individually in each case. For primary prevention of acute myocardial infarction take 100 mg per day or 300 mg a day. In the case of missing one or more doses, the patient should take a pill as soon as remember it. To avoid doubling the amount of drug you can't drink the missed tablet, if it is nearing your next dose.
In order to prevent re-infarction, stable and unstable angina a day appoint 100-300 mg funds.
