Get the update for the Microsoft Office line of products. This can be as a completely new version of the application, such as Microsoft Office 10 Microsoft Office 2014 or, etc., and sets of updates to an existing version – Service Pack 1.2. Find out about current updates on the Microsoft website, and then purchase the licensed version of the software online (or download for free if given the chance) or in computer stores.

Run the installation file of the updates and follow the instructions on the screen. When prompted to install the product again, removing the current, or upgrade with the protection of the personal data, select the second option. Please note that the installed version of products should also be licensed, otherwise the software may be denied.

Enter the license key in the window that appears. You can find the code on the package you purchased the disc or in the accompanying documents to the installation file you downloaded on the Internet. Once you enter the key, the installation wizard prompts you to activate the software in one of two ways – via the Internet or by phone.

Select activation method on the Internet if you have connection to the network. The program will automatically send a request to the license server Microsoft and if you have specified the correct key you will be notified about the successful activation. To register by phone, select the appropriate option in the list, then select the region of your stay and call the number on the screen number, completing the activation procedure.

You can activate Office later by selecting the "Pending activation". At every startup the program will remind you of that. To complete the procedure in the "File" tab go to "help" and select "Activate product key".
