First connect the camcorder to a personal computer. To do this, insert the data cable one end to the appropriate connector on the camera (usually next to him is the icon "USB") and others - in USB input on the computer (through USB extension).

Then wait until the computer will detect the connected video camera.

Then you will see the AutoPlay window with possible actions on files videocamera.

In the select action on videos stored on the camera, select the line "Open" by clicking it with the left mouse button once, then press the "OK" button located at the bottom of the window.

You will see the Explorer window, files and folders stored on the drive the videocamera. In it, open the folder called "Video" (exact folder name depends on the brand and manufacturer of videocamera).

After you get the folder containing the video files themselves, select those that you want to copy to the computer.

Then hit "Ctrl+C" on your keyboard to copy the selected files to the clipboard system. Also copy selected files by clicking the files with the right mouse button once and selecting the menu line "Copy".

After you copied the files to the clipboard, go to the folder on the computerto which you want to transfer the video files.

Entering in the correct directory, hit "Ctrl+V" on your keyboard to paste the copied files. In order to paste the files, you can also click in the selected folder in an empty space right click and choose from the menu line Insert.
Note
If after connecting the camcorder with the computer, nothing happened, then on the computer the drivers are not installed video cameras, which provide a mutual operation of devices (cameras and computer). Drivers are usually supplied on the disc that should have come bundled with your camcorder.
Useful advice
The process of copying videos to a computer may take a long time. The exact transfer time depends on file size, transfer speed and performance of a computer.
