The easiest way to insert images into the program is a direct copy. To do this, open your picture with Paint. Then in the main menu go to "edit", then click "Select all". Copy the image. To do this, just right click on the image, then click "Copy".

After you copy the image, open the program "Compass". Click the right mouse button, then click the "Insert" tab. In the dialog box will appear on your picture.

There is another alternative. Directly in the program on the main pane, see "Insert". You will see an additional list of commands. Among them select "Insert image (picture or animation)". The program will prompt you to select a file from the collection or upload from computer directly.

In the opened window click "Upload image". Select the image that is on your computer, and click "OK". After that, the picture will appear in the program, and you will be able to work with her.
Note
Using the menu "Insert" in the program please note that you can only upload images with the extension *.png, *.gif, *.jpeg. Other formats "Kompas SPDS" do not read without additional installed modules.

Useful advice
In Paint you can select a picture using the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+A. Also, when copying and pasting images you can use the following combinations, respectively: Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V.
If the "Compass ASAP" does not open the image, edit the with Paint extension: just save the image with the desired format.
