You will need

Before you cook oatmeal porridge, you need to go through the barley, cleanse it from various debris. Then rinse well under cold running water. To do this, use the colander. Next, take a pan and soak the oats in cold water overnight. In the morning drain the remaining water.
In a clean saucepan, pour water. Liquid you need to pour more than grits in half. Pour in the water, a little salt and stir. Then place the container on a plate. Bring the liquid to a boil.
