How to remove a website from the address bar

Links to all visited sites are stored in computer memory in the temporary files folder. To remove the addresses of Internet resources it is necessary to remove the desired files from this folder. How to do this, consider the example of two browsers: Internet Explorer and Google Chrome.

Instruction

1. Internet Explorer
   Start the web browser. In the browser window, in the top panel, go to the tools tab and select "Internet options".
   
2. In the window "Internet options", under "browsing History", click on the "Delete" button (please note that the nearby "Settings" button allows you to automatically purge temporary files).
   
3. Then in the "Delete browsing history" you are invited to tick the box opposite we are interested in points. It can be noted that "Log" and "Data web forms". To make the changes take effect, it is desirable to restart the browser.
   
4. Google Chrome
   In this case the procedure is slightly different from the standard browser from Microsoft. The main difference in the location of the desired bookmarks. Download Google Chrome.
