Instructions for use "Flemoksin"
"Flemoksin Solutab" active against streptococci, staphylococci (including Staphylococcus), meningococcus, gonococcus, tetanus bacilli, Listeria, Enterococcus and other bacteria. They can treat:
infection of the respiratory tract (bronchitis, pneumonia, laryngitis, tonsillitis, etc.);
infection of the digestive system (gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, the causative agent of which is the bacterium Helicobacter pylori);
- infections of the genitourinary system (cystitis, pyelonephritis, gonorrhea, etc.);
infection of the soft tissues, and skin (furuncles, folliculitis, etc.).
Also "flemoksin" shown with inflammation of the facial nerve, and skin infections that emerged after animal bites. Children up to 8 years the drug is prescribed for the treatment of Lyme disease − the disease being transmitted infected ticks.
Dosage "Flemoksin" can vary depending on the weight and age of the patient, as well as diagnosis and severity of disease. Babies under one year the drug is generally administered at 10-20 mg/kg three times a day. Children aged 1-3 years "flemoksin" give 125 mg three times daily or 250 mg 2 times a day. Children 3-10 years, the dosage was increased to 250 mg 3 times daily or 375 mg 2 times a day. Adults are prescribed 500-750 mg twice a day or 375-500 mg three times a day.
