Download the ISO image of Windows from the Internet and download the program WinToFlash.

Unzip the image in a convenient folder. Run the downloaded program. In the window that appears, select "migration Wizard Windows setup to flash. Click "Next".

Specify the directory in which you unzipped the files from the ISOimage. Select the driveon which you want to migrate the Windows installer. The volume of media to be used needs to be larger than the size of the image. For example, to install Windows 7 you will need the Flash USB at least 4Gb.

In the next window, agree to the terms of the license agreement and wait for the recording process. Bootable USB disk with Windows operating system ready.

To create a bootable image with Linux, use the program UNetbootin. Download the distribution for your operating system (there are versions for Linux and Windows) and install.

Run the program. The window that POPs up, select "Image" and specify the ISO setting. Specify the path to the downloaded image, and in the lower part of the window, select the type of paper used and its name in the system.

Click "OK" and wait for the end of the burning process.

To boot from the USB device you need to configure the appropriate settings. When you start the computer hit the correct keyboard button to start editing the BIOS settings. The title key is written when the computer is booted in the bottom of the screen. In the menu item First Boot Device, specify USB Flash. Save the settings, insert the flash drive and restart the computer.
Useful advice
Before recording, Windows pre-format the media to FAT32. This can be done by means of the operating system (My computer -> right clicking on "Removable disk" -> "Format"). After formatting all data will be deleted.
