When you lock the SIM card the phone remains working. This type of lock can occur if the wrong pin code. Use the Pak code to unlock, in case if the card where the SIM card was lost, contact the representative office of your mobile operator. If the SIM card was registered to you, you will need your passport otherwise the passport of the person to whom it was registered. You will be issued a duplicate SIM card, then you will be able to make calls.

Factory lock can occur, if you bought a phone designed for web use only of the operator, under which it was blocked. Otherwise, when you turn on your phone you will need to enter the unlock code. Contact the manufacturer of your cell phone or to the operator, which carried out the lock. You will need to provide the serial number of the phone (IMEI), as well as personal data provided during registration. Otherwise, re-flash the phone by yourself or contact a service center to unlock the device.

Locking the phone is intended to preserve the integrity of the personal data of the owner of the phone in case of loss or theft. In this case the phone locks completely. To unlock you must either contact manufacturer either commit flashing. Turning to the representative of the manufacturer, request the codes reset to factory settings and codes reset firmware. Note - if you reset the firmware all your personal data will be erased, as in the case of flashing. When flashing follow the instructions carefully, and if in doubt in their own abilities - contact the service centre for flashing.
