Define the settlement period. Vacation is accrued according to the average wage for the last calendar year (12 months).

Determine the average daily salary by the following calculations: the amount of wages that were paid to you during the last calendar year, divide by 12 (number of months in a year) and 29.4 (average monthly number of calendar days).

Determine the amount of vacation. To do this, average daily wages and multiply by the number of holiday days. For instance, You receive 2000 hryvnia per month, which is 24,000 per year. The resulting value will be divided by 365 calendar days. The result is that while on vacation, you receive daily from the employer's 65 UAH. 75 kopecks. To determine the amount of holiday pay, you multiply the resulting sum by the number of vacation days - 65 UAH. 75 COP. x 24 days = 1578 UAH. 00 kopecks are added To this amount the amount of payment under the collective agreement of the enterprise.

Note
According to article 12 of the law of Ukraine "On leave", only with your consent, the Manager may call you from vacation (offer to end your holiday) due to unforeseen circumstances (accident or accident at work), and also in connection with the performance of urgent work, the failure of which may lead to downtime of the enterprise.
Useful advice
In case of illness during your holiday, immediately go to the doctor and make sick leave, then the company's management will be obliged to extend to you not only annual, but also an additional vacation to the number of days that you were ill. Vacation may not be extended only when the hospital has been issued you are not sick, and to care for children or other family members.
